7yMax Greyserman will make his PGA TOUR debut this week as he preps for the 117th U.S. Open Championship at Erin Hills Golf Course.

The Duke University product earned his way through the sectional qualifier in Lakewood, Washington. The soon-to-be graduate was one of two current Blue Devils to punch their ticket (Alex Smalley). Due to a scheduling conflict, Greyersman nearly pulled out of his local qualifier (to earn a spot in the sectional) but now he’s surely happy he stayed committed to avoid wasting his $200 entry fee. While he is a long shot to contend, Greyersman would make for a great story if he does flash some form this week.
