He is tied for 16th at 7 under halfway through the final round.
Woods won three times in a row at Muirfield Village starting in 1999, and his worst finish since has been a tie for 22nd in 2002.
A decent back nine should ensure he does better than that this year, but he doesn’t have a lot of margin for error.
