Notah Begay withdrawns from Reno for birth of second child

RENO, Nev. ' Notah Begay III has withdrawn from this weeks Legends Reno-Tahoe Open to await the birth of his second child.

Begay says his wife is now a week past due, and hell remain at home with her until the baby arrives.

Four other golfers ' Roland Thatcher, Ben Crane, Stephen Leaney and John Merrick ' also withdrew Monday.

They were replaced by Olin Browne, Mark Hensby, Dan Forsman, Craig Barlow and Brent Geiberger.

The tournament begins Thursday at Montreux Golf & Country Club on the edge of the Sierra Nevada southwest of Reno.
