Jordan Spieth remains No. 2 in the Official World Golf Ranking, but he’s closing the gap on Rory McIlroy.

With his U.S. Open win, Spieth went from 3.64 points behind McIlroy to 1.72 in the battle for world No. 1. Spieth also sits more than four points ahead of No. 3 - a sizable gap.

That third spot is now held by Dustin Johnson, who finished runner-up at Chambers Bay after three-putting from 13 feet on the final green.

Justin Rose (T-27) jumped to No. 4 after leagfrogging Jim Furyk, Bubba Watson and Henrik Stenson.

Jason Day also made a move in the right direction, bumping up to eighth from 10th with a T-9, all while battling vertigo-like symptoms.

Further down, DJ’s fellow runner-up, Louis Oosthuizen, is up to 16th from 27th, Branden Grace (T-4) is up to 27th from 40th, and Cameron Smith (T-4) is all the way up to 89th from 167th.

And now the bad news: former No. 1 Tiger Woods has slipped to 205th in the world. The last time Woods was outside the top 200 was September 1996, the week before his first professional win, when he was 221st. Tiger is now sandwiched between John Huh and Matthew Fitzpatrick.

Here is your newly shuffled OWGR top 10 for the week of June 21, 2015: 1. Rory McIlroy, 2. Jordan Spieth, 3. Dustin Johnson, 4. Justin Rose, 5. Bubba Watson, 6. Jim Furyk, 7. Henrik Stenson, 8. Jason Day, 9. Sergio Garcia, 10. Rickie Fowler
