When it comes to the backswing, one of the biggest issues you will see is when a player gets the club across the line at the top.
While it might not be quite as common, equally problematic can be a backswing that results in a laid-off position at the top of the swing.
In this video segment, School of Golf host Martin Hall has a simple tip to help you fix this issue and get your club shaft pointed down the target line when you’ve completed your backswing.
So, for the right-handed player, focus on your right thumb. If you can get it pointing at the target at the top of your swing, your problem will be solved.
