    Panthers waived OT Isaiah Battle.
A fifth-round supplemental pick back in 2015, Battle has yet to make an appearance in the NFL. Getting cut at this point in the offseason is not a great sign for his future.

Panthers signed OT Isaiah Battle, RB Reggie Bonnafon, LB Brandon Chubb, DB Cole Luke, DB Kai Nacua, DT Elijah Qualls, OG Ian Silberman, OG Landon Turner, WR DeAndrew White, LB Antwione Williams, DB Quin Blanding, DT Woodrow Hamilton and WR Andre Levrone to reserve/future contracts.
An ex-fifth round supplemental pick of Jeff Fisher’s Rams, Battle has never made a regular season appearance.

Seahawks acquired OT Isaiah Battle from the Chiefs.
Selected in the fifth-round of the 2015 supplemental draft by the Rams, Battle has yet to be active for a regular season game. He is just a dart throw for the always offensive-line needy Seahawks.
  • FA Tackle #79
An NFC personnel man told the Newark Star-Ledger that he hears the Falcons are the “most interested” team in Clemson LT Isaiah Battle.
“I’ll be surprised if he’s not taken,” said the same executive. “He’s worth a shot, for sure. It’s just a matter of how much is he worth to you.” Battle is expected to be taken in next Thursday’s Supplemental Draft, but has a number of off-field issues, hence his decision to leave Clemson and bolt for the NFL. He’s going to be a project, but has ideal height at 6-foot-7 and a slender 275 pounds.

ESPN Rams reporter Nick Wagoner said there are “no plans to rush” rookie OT Isaiah Battle.
A fifth-round pick in the supplemental draft, Battle needs a lot of work and is not expected to realistically push for a starting job for “two to three years.” Fellow rookie Rob Havenstein is a virtual lock to open the season at right tackle.

ESPN’s Mike Reiss reports 26 teams attended Clemson LT Isaiah Battle’s Pro Day on Tuesday.
The Miami Herald reports the Dolphins were one of them, though it would obviously be easier to report the teams that didn’t attend. Battle is viewed as having day-two upside, but he also has a history of off-the-field issues. He should be the first player taken in the Supplemental Draft since 2012, but it may not be until Rounds 4-7.
  • FA Tackle #79
Clemson OT Isaiah Battle measured 6-foot-6, 312 with 35 3/8-inch arms at his Pro Day on Tuesday.
He ran 5.22 in the forty. The measurables are ideal for an NFL tackle, and far more impressive than Battle’s lanky 6-foot-7, 290 listing on the Clemson website. Battle’s pro readiness is in doubt, but he certainly looks the part.

The Clemson Insider reports Clemson LT Isaiah Battle declared for the Supplemental Draft because he had committed his “third and final” disciplinary strike.
Although he wasn’t charged with a crime, Battle was issued citations for speeding and possession of marijuana earlier this month. He was apparently going to be kicked off Dabo Swinney’s team. They’re issues teams will have to sort through as they decide whether to use a 2016 draft pick on Battle in this summer’s Supplemental Draft. There hasn’t been a player taken in the Supplemental Draft since Josh Gordon in 2012.

Clemson LT Isaiah Battle will enter the Supplemental Draft.
“I have some family matters to address, with a child due this summer, and I feel it is in my best interest to enter the NFL Supplemental Draft,” Battle said in a statement. Battle started 11 games on Clemson’s blindside in 2014. Standing in at 6-foot-7, Battle needs to add some weight to his 275-pound frame, but is a plus athlete. Two NFL sources tell Yahoo’s Charles Robinson that teams could be willing to use a third-round pick on the 22 year old.
  • FA Tackle #79
Clemson LT Isaiah Battle will have his Pro Day on July 7.
Battle is the only player expected to be taken in next Thursday’s Supplemental Draft, with some teams reportedly giving him a mid-round grade. The Falcons have reportedly expressed the most interest in Battle.
