Red Sox signed OF Izzy Wilson to a minor league contract.
Wilson will likely open the 2022 campaign at Triple-A Worcester and provide the Red Sox with some additional organizational outfield depth. The 23-year-old outfielder spent all of last season at Double-A Rocket City in the Angels’ minor-league system, slashing .247/.328/.486 with 21 round-trippers and 25 stolen bases across 335 plate appearances.
