According to Marc Berman of the New York Post, the Knicks are not expected to sign John Henson to a second 10-day contract.
This comes as no surprise, as Henson has yet to play for the team due to a strained right calf. We’ll see if he gets a shot somewhere else but even if that does happen, there’s no need to consider rostering Henson.

John Henson (strained right calf) will not play on Monday vs. the Lakers.
Henson has yet to debut for the Knicks. If he’s on your fantasy team this hobby isn’t for you.

John Henson (strained right calf) has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Raptors.
Henson has still yet to make his debut for the Knicks, thanks to the calf injury. Once cleared, he’ll be no higher than third in the pecking order at the center position, behind Nerlens Noel and Taj Gibson. Henson can be left on your league’s waiver wire.

John Henson (right calf strain) won’t play on Friday against the Grizzlies.
Henson still won’t make his debut, but that shouldn’t change much for fantasy managers.

John Henson (right calf strain) won’t play on Wednesday against the Celtics.
Henson will have to wait to make his Knicks debut. This shouldn’t change much for fantasy managers.

John Henson is reportedly signing a 10-day contract with the Knicks.
Henson will be battling Taj Gibson and Norvel Pelle for the backup minutes behind Nerlens Noel, so we doubt he’ll have any fantasy value in New York.

Pistons center John Henson is reportedly “among the players” New York will target if they clear a roster spot prior to the Mar. 25 trade deadline.
Kings big man Norvel Pelle is also on the radar, according to SNY’s Ian Begley. Even if one of these guys does come to New York, they’d merely serve as emergency depth.

Thon Maker started Wednesday’s game and had 13 points, three rebounds, two 3-pointers and one block in 17 minutes of action.
Detroit was playing without John Henson, who sprained his left ankle on Sunday, but that’s unlikely to benefit Maker going forward with the NBA season on hold. Until the league offers some clarity about when games might resume, we’re adding and dropping players in the dark.

John Henson (left ankle sprain) will not play on Wednesday vs. the 76ers.
Henson was in a good amount of pain after turning his ankle on Sunday, so he’s likely looking at a multi-game absence moving forward. Thon Maker and Sekou Doumbouya will help fill his minutes while he’s out, with Maker offering a bit more upside.

John Henson exited during the fourth quarter of Sunday’s game against the Knicks with what was diagnosed as a left ankle sprain.
Henson was in some serious pain as he limped to the bench after rolling his ankle in the paint. He played just 15 minutes and scored three points before leaving. Henson has had major injury issues throughout his career, so it would not be surprising if this caused him to miss time. Thon Maker and Sekou Doumbouya would see extra minutes in that scenario.
