The Oklahoma City Thunder have signed forward Josh Hall to a two-way contract, according to Brandon Rahbar of the Daily Thunder.
Hall had an impressive showing in the Thunder’s season finale last season, scoring 25 points and adding 10 rebounds in a win over the Clippers who were actively trying to lose. In any event, Hall will be another young lengthy forward who will be at the end of OKC’s bench and will be bouncing back and forth between the G-League and the big show.

  • FA Power Forward #17
Aleksej Pokusevski scored a career-high 29 points to go with eight rebounds, two assists, six 3-pointers and an unfortunate seven turnovers in 41 minutes of a 117-112 win against the Clippers on Sunday evening.
This is Poku’s first 20+ point game since early April, and like Moses Brown, he went off tonight but was overall a bit below expectations on the tanking Thunder. He’s seven feet tall and 190 pounds, so it’s possible the weight room becomes his best friend this offseason so that he can work in the post a bit more, but the potential is sky-high for the rook. Josh Hall made a start and also played well, putting up a 25/10 double-double with two dimes and a triple in 43 minutes.

  • FA Small Forward #15
Josh Hall will start in place of Luguentz Dort on Sunday, with the other four starters remaining the same.
He’ll be joined by Theo Maledon, Isaiah Roby, Moses Brown and Aleksej Pokusevski in the starting five. They’re one of the many tanking teams playing a playoff team’s second string, so we’ll see how OKC fares tonight.

Josh Hall (bilateral knee soreness) played 24 minutes in Saturday’s loss to the Pacers, recording a line of seven points (3-of-8 FGs, 1-of-4 FTs), four rebounds, four assists, one steal and one blocked shot.
Hall isn’t a viable fantasy option on most nights, but he was able to record a full stat line Saturday night. The nature of the game likely helped matters, as the Thunder trailed by as much as 67 points before falling by a 152-95 final score. Hall can be left on all waiver wires, as he isn’t going to be a difference-maker during any fantasy league’s playoff rounds.

  • FA Small Forward #15
Josh Hall (bilateral knee soreness) won’t play on Friday against the Raptors.
Hall isn’t a regular rotation player and his absence shouldn’t change much for fantasy managers. Consider him out until an update is made.

Josh Hall (bilateral knee soreness) won’t play on Friday against the Pistons.
Hall isn’t a stable rotation player and his absence shouldn’t change much for fantasy managers.

  • FA Small Forward #15
Josh Hall (concussion) was scoreless in 15 minutes off the bench on Tuesday, missing all three of his shots while grabbing two boards with an assist.
Hall isn’t playing a reliable role even when healthy. Anything can happen on the tanking Thunder, but it’s unlikely Hall will merit a roster spot in fantasy leagues this season.

  • FA Small Forward #15
Josh Hall (concussion) will be available to play on Tuesday vs. the Jazz.
He’s missed the past four games, and he’s not a major part of the rotation, so we wouldn’t expect much from him tonight.

Josh Hall (concussion) won’t play on Thursday against the Cavaliers.
Hall suffered the injury on Saturday and hasn’t played since. Without him, Kenrich Williams stands to gain the most statistically. On Wednesday he scored six points with nine assists, nine rebounds, and three steals.

  • Power Forward #25
Isaiah Roby suffered a concussion vs. the Blazers on Saturday.
Roby will enter the concussion protocol along with Josh Hall, who was also hurt on Saturday, and Lu Dort. The Thunder host the Pistons on Monday and for now we’ll list Roby as doubtful, since he’ll need to clear the league’s rather stringent protocols before getting cleared. Moses Brown should pick up more minutes if he stays out of foul trouble, with Kenrich Williams and Justin Jackson getting more burn in the frontcourt.
