The Clippers have signed Juwan Morgan for training camp.
The Clippers now have 20 players under contract, and presumably, Morgan’s deal will not be guaranteed. He’s nowhere close to the fantasy radar.

  • NBA Power Forward #16
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Pacers will waive Juwan Morgan, Nik Stauskas, and Malik Fitts.
The Pacers recently agreed (verbally) with Deandre Ayton on an offer sheet worth $133 million over four years, so the front office has to free up cap space to sign him. Stauskas, Fitts, and Morgan were all acquired from the Celtics in the Malcolm Brogdon trade, and they were unlikely to log rotation minutes if the Pacers decided to hold onto them.

  • NBA Power Forward #16
Juwan Morgan has been traded to Indiana as a piece in the trade for Malcolm Brogdon.
A little less than three months after signing a multi-year deal with the Celtics, Morgan will be heading to Indiana. Morgan played sparingly in the NBA last season on multiple 10-day contracts. He spent most of his time playing for the Maine Red Claws. He won’t be relevant in fantasy hoops next season.

  • Malcolm Brogdon has been traded to the Boston Celtics in exchange for Daniel Theis, Aaron Nesmith, Nik Stauskas, Malik Fitts, Juwan Morgan and a 2023 first-round pick, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski announced on Friday.
Brogdon finally has a new home. He’s been in the rumor mill for what feels like years, especially with Indiana clearly in the middle of a rebuild. If Brogdon can stay healthy, a backcourt of him, Marcus Smart, and Derrick White will be very difficult to score on. Assuming Boston doesn’t decide to send Smart back to a bench role, Brogdon will be one of the best sixth men in the league and should still play a huge role. The Celtics didn’t have to give up much, as none of those five players were a part of their rotation when the team was healthy, and that should be a very late first round pick unless things go very south for the Celtics next season.

  • NBA Power Forward #16
The Boston Celtics are signing forward Juwan Morgan to a multiyear deal, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Morgan has spent most of his time this season with the NBA G-League affiliate in Maine, and he’s only played in two NBA games this season (one for the Celtics, one for the Raptors). He’ll fill Boston’s empty roster spot, but don’t expect to see a ton of him in the postseason.

  • NBA Power Forward #16
Juwan Morgan (health and safety protocols) has been ruled out for Wednesday’s game against the Bulls.
Morgan being sidelined won’t have an impact on the Celtics rotation or on fantasy basketball leagues. In the words of former Celtics big man Kendrick Perkins, “carry on.”

  • NBA Power Forward #16
The Boston Celtics are signing Juwan Morgan to a 10-day contract, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Morgan has been a part of the Celtics G-League affiliate, the Maine Red Claws, and he has spent stints with the Celtics in the past. He will get an opportunity to be on the active roster, but he is not expected to make an impact in fantasy basketball. Leave him on the wire.

  • NBA Power Forward #16
The Toronto Raptors are signing Brandon Goodwin to a ten-day contract, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Morgan played with the Jazz from 2019-2021 and participated in training camp this season with the Celtics before being sent to their g-league affiliate in Maine. Morgan should provide Toronto some depth and will give them a guy with some experience, but he isn’t a fantasy basketball target.

  • NBA Power Forward #16
The Celtics have waived Juwan Morgan.
He’ll head over to Boston’s G League affiliate in Maine, but he’s safe to ignore in fantasy hoops.

  • CHA Forward #2
Grant Williams (right foot sprain) will be available for Monday night’s preseason game against Orlando, the team announced.
Williams had previously been listed as questionable so the upgrade is a good sign. It is unclear how many minutes that Williams will play, but considering the fact that he is trying to solidify a spot in the rotation, he will likely want to play as much as he can. Forward Juwan Morgan will be out Monday due to a left hamstring strain.
