Ky Bowman has agreed to a deal with the Clippers.
Shams Charania said Bowman will compete for a roster spot in camp, so the deal could be non-guaranteed. Bowman made some nice appearances in the absence of Stephen Curry for Golden State last season so it’s nice to see him land on his feet. He’s well off the fantasy radar, to be clear.

The Warriors will waive PG Ky Bowman.
He had some nice fill-in starts for the Warriors last season but Jordan Poole reportedly had a strong mini-camp and was getting some PG reps. The Warriors also took Nico Mannion with the 48th overall pick. Bowman is expected to have several suitors in free agency.

Ky Bowman returned to action from his sprained right ankle and played 24 minutes and hit 5-of-6 shots for 11 points, four rebounds, one assist and one 3-pointer in a blowout loss to the Clippers on Tuesday.
This was a total surprise, as the last update we had was that Bowman would be reevaluated on Thursday. He came back early but was helped by the lopsided nature of the 131-107 Clipper win. And with Stephen Curry due back on Thursday, Bowman is going to be unreliable, outside of the chance of a few random, solid performances between now and the end of the season. He still belongs on waivers.

The Warriors announced on Tuesday that Ky Bowman (sprained right ankle) is “making good progress” and will be re-evaluated next Thursday.
With Stephen Curry (left wrist) returning to action this week, Bowman’s fantasy value has plummeted. He should be left on waivers, even after he is medically cleared.

Chasson Randle has agreed to a 10-day contract with the Golden State Warriors.
Randle had his first two 10-day deals denied by his team in China, but he finally got clearance to go through with this one. The CBA has suspended play due to the widespread outbreak of the coronavirus in China, so many American players are seeking other opportunities. Randle isn’t on the fantasy radar, though this could signal that the Jordan Poole (ankle) and Ky Bowman (ankle) could miss some time.

Ky Bowman (sprained right ankle) will be re-evaluated in one week.
Golden State’s depth at the point guard position took another hit Thursday night when Bowman injured his ankle late in the fourth quarter of a loss to the Lakers. And with Stephen Curry (left wrist) set to miss at least three more games, this frees up even more playing time for recent signing Mychal Mulder. Mulder isn’t worth picking up in any league.

Steve Kerr said that Ky Bowman rolled his ankle “pretty bad” and will be out “extended time.”
Bowman injured the ankle late in the fourth quarter of Thursday’s game vs. the Lakers. He won’t make the trip to Phoenix for Saturday’s game vs. the Suns and is expected to get an MRI on Friday. It sounds like we are looking at a multi-game absence. With Stephen Curry likely to return to action on Sunday, Bowan’s fantasy value was headed in the wrong direction even before the ankle issue. He can be sent to the waiver wire in lieu of a more promising player.

Ky Bowman scored 11 points with three rebounds, two assists, two steals, one block and one 3-pointer in 31 minutes against the Lakers on Thursday.
In the final minutes, he did sprain his ankle and did not return. He started the third quarter for an ejected Draymond Green, which explains the boost to his minutes. Green could sit out Saturday or Sunday, but Bowman’s fantasy value will be taking a big hit in the form of Stephen Curry (hand), who figures to return on Sunday.

Stephen Curry (broken left hand) will return to action on Sunday against the Wizards, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
This has been the expected target date for some time now, and Curry has been going through rigorous workouts, so he shouldn’t have too extreme of a minutes cap in his first game back from a four-month layoff. It’s possible he’ll skip some random games here and there down the stretch, but even in a limited capacity, Curry has the ability to play difference-maker down the stretch. Once he’s back, Ky Bowman probably won’t be worth owning.

Ky Bowman got hot in 32 minutes off the bench Sunday, scoring 15 points with seven assists, six rebounds, three steals and one block.
Stephen Curry (hand) is still targeting a return on Mar. 1 and the Warriors have been adamant that they intend to play him down the stretch. That’s a direct blow to Bowman, especially since he’s probably lower in the pecking order than Jordan Poole and Damion Lee. Play him over the next week, by all means, but don’t rely on him in March.
