Blue Jays optioned RHP Mike Bolsinger to Triple-A Buffalo.
The Dodgers traded Bolsinger to the Blue Jays before Monday’s trade deadline passed. He held a 6.83 ERA in six major league starts prior to the trade. The 28-year-old right-hander could be called back up later in the season when the Jays need a spot starter.

Mike Bolsinger was tagged for six runs in 5 1/3 innings Monday in a loss to the Rockies.
It was two runs through five innings, but Bolsinger gave up four in the sixth, the last three coming on a Trevor Story homer that followed an intentional walk to Carlos Gonzalez. Bolsinger pitched fairly well in his previous two starts, but he now has a 5.75 ERA in four turns since entering the Dodgers rotation, putting his spot in jeopardy.

Blue Jays acquired RHP Mike Bolsinger from the Dodgers for RHP Jesse Chavez and cash considerations.
Bolsinger has posted an ugly 6.83 ERA over six starts this season in the majors this season, but he’s had better results in the minors and is just a year removed from being a useful piece. He’ll provide some rotation insurance, at the very least.

Making his second start of the season, Mike Bolsinger allowed two runs on three hits over 5 2/3 innings in Tuesday’s win over the Reds.
Bolsinger struck out six and walked one on the evening. Both runs on his line came home courtesy of a two-run home run by Adam Duvall in the fourth inning. The 28-year-old right-hander was optioned to Triple-A following his first start of the season last week and while he pitched just fine in start No. 2, he shouldn’t be considered a long-term rotation option for fantasy purposes.

Mike Bolsinger failed to provide much length in Monday’s loss to the Diamondbacks, surrendering three runs on five hits over 4 2/3 innings.
Bolsinger struck out five without walking a batter. Two of the three runs to score on his watch came via the home run. Paul Goldschmidt greeted him with a solo shot in the first inning and Jake Lamb socked a solo tater of his own in the third. The 28-year-old Bolsinger owns a 5.76 ERA and 1.24 WHIP. Monday’s start was his fifth of the season. A home date with the Brewers awaits him next time he toes the rubber.

Mike Bolsinger was lucky to escape with a no-decision after allowing five earned runs to the Brewers on nine hits in 2 2/3 innings on Saturday.
He walked two and struck out one. Bolsinger has not been able to repeat the success he had in 21 starts with the Dodgers last year. Bolsinger has the ability to strike out enough batters to be a mid-rotation starter provided he can keep the ball in the yard. The Dodgers have a lot of options to replace him in the starting rotation and the money to go get more if needed. Bolsinger has made only six starts this year but he needs to reduce his 6.83 ERA quickly if he wants to get many more.

Dodgers optioned RHP Mike Bolsinger to Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Bolsinger has put up a 6.83 ERA over six starts this season. It’s unclear who will take his rotation spot, but Carlos Frias has been recalled and Brandon McCarthey (elbow) and Hyun-Jun Ryu (shoulder) are close.

Mike Bolsinger allowed two runs on two hits and two walks in five innings of work in Wednesday’s loss to the Cubs.
Bolsinger made his third start of the 2016 season and threw the ball pretty well. The only damage came on a two-run homer to Kris Bryant in the third inning, and, well, that’ll certainly happen. The righty has struck out six in two-consecutive starts and has compiled an 8.40 K/9 through 15 innings. That’s in line with his career 8.07 K/9 -- just as his current 4.20 ERA aligns with his career 4.25 ERA. He is what he is at 28 years old, which is nothing more than a streaming option for a fantasy team in need.

Dodgers recalled RHP Mike Bolsinger from Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Bolsinger will presumably make the start Tuesday against the Reds. The 28-year-old gave up three runs in 4 1/3 innings last Wednesday against the Angels before being sent down to Triple-A.

Blue Jays optioned RHP Dominic Leone and C Juan Graterol to Triple-A Buffalo.
Leone had been competing with Mike Bolsinger, Ryan Tepera and Aaron Loup for a spot in the Opening Day bullpen. The Jays figure to whittle down that competition further within the next few days. Leone, 25, landed with the Blue Jays after being claimed off waivers from the Diamondbacks in November. With a career ERA of 4.07 across 108 1/3 innings pitched, he could potentially earn a call to the big league club as needed during the season.
