Pirates re-signed C Andrew Susac to a minor league contract.
Susac was outrighted off the Pirates’ 40-man roster at the conclusion of the season, but he’ll remain in the fold to begin the spring. The 30-year-old is a .219/.286/.371 hitter in 114 games (304 plate appearances) at the major league level and represents depth at this stage of his career.

Pirates sent C Andrew Susac outright to Triple-A Indianapolis.
Susac was added to the Pirates’ active roster on the final day of the regular season. The 30-year-old catcher is a career .219/.286/.371 hitter in 114 games (304 plate appearances) at the major league level.

Pirates purchased the contract of C Andrew Susac from their alternate training site.
It took until the final day of the season, but Susac will get a little time in the majors in 2020. He will give the Pirates another catcher with Jacob Stallings (concussion) going down.

Pirates signed C Andrew Susac to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.
Susac is just a .221/.283/.373 career hitter in the majors and spent last season at the Triple-A level. The Pirates’ catching depth is very thin, though, so perhaps he’ll get another shot in the big leagues.

Royals acquired C Andrew Susac from the Orioles for cash considerations.
Susac is a career .221/.283/.373 hitter in 300 plate appearances at the major league level. Kansas City needed a little extra organizational depth at the catcher position with Salvador Perez done for the season following Tommy John elbow surgery.

Andrew Susac clubbed a solo homer off of James Paxton as the Orioles fell to the Yankees in Cactus League action on Friday.
Susac opened the scoring in the game with a solo blast in the third inning. He finished the day 1-for-3 and is hitting .167 (1-for-6) in early spring action. Though the Orioles are rather weak at the catcher position overall, Susac will need a strong spring to have any shot at cracking the Opening Day roster in a reserve role.

Orioles sent C Andrew Susac outright to Triple-A Norfolk.
Susac was designated for assignment last week to clear a 40-man roster spot for infielder Hanser Alberto. The 29-year-old catcher is a career .221/.283/.373 hitter in exactly 300 plate appearances at the major league level.

Orioles designated C Andrew Susac for assignment.
The move clears a spot on the 40-man roster for Hanser Alberto. Susac used to be a good prospect, but he’ll be 29 in March, has had trouble staying healthy and hasn’t developed with the bat as hoped.

Andrew Susac (shoulder) is back in the lineup with Triple-A Sacramento on Tuesday night.
It’ll be his first game at Triple-A since April 26, when his shoulder began barking. Susac is serving as organizational catching depth for the Giants this year with Trevor Brown working as Buster Posey’s backup.

Andrew Susac (shoulder) is reporting to High-A San Jose to begin playing in games.
Susac has been on the Triple-A disabled list for the last few weeks with tendinitis in his shoulder. It’s something that has been bothering him since spring training. The 26-year-old catcher is a .240/.309/.407 career hitter in 87 games at the major league level and probably won’t be a fantasy factor at all this season. Trevor Brown is backing up Buster Posey in San Francisco.
