White Sox signed LHP Ben Holmes to a minor league contract.
Holmes has yet to reach the majors and made 11 appearances (four starts) last year for the Milwaukee Milkmen of the independent American Association. The 31-year-old lefty spent seven seasons in the minors from 2014 to 2021.
