Benito Baez, coming back from Tommy John surgery, has allowed one run over five innings in two appearances for Single-A Jupiter.
Baez, a 26-year-old lefty reliever, pitched for the Marlins briefly in 2001. He’ll spend the rest of this season rehabbing in the minors.
