Twins signed RHP Chad Donato to a minor league contract.
The 27-year-old hurler was an 11th round pick by the Astros from the 2016 draft class and spent the past six seasons in their organization. In 2022, he registered a 5.34 ERA, 1.46 WHIP and a 101/60 K/BB ratio over 124 2/3 innings at Triple-A Sugar Land. He’ll add rotation depth for the Twins and is likely to begin the 2023 season at Triple-A St. Paul.
