''I’m running close to 90 percent to 95 percent,’' Harville said.

Harville, who is attempting to win a spot as a reliever, threw a normal bullpen session Sunday and could get into a game soon.

Harville had been held out of action with a biceps proble,

''It went good,’' Harville said. He took yesterday off and will resume throwing shortly.

''We’ll see what (today) and maybe Tuesday brings,’' GM Gerry Hunsicker said. ''We should have a pretty good indication by then as to how realistic Andy making a start on (June 7) will be.’' Harville has his fastball back up to 91-94 mph.

Harville, who has been out of action since May 5th with a strained hamstring muscle, will not make his next scheduled appearance tomorrow at Round Rock, but will instead continue his rehab in Florida with the Astros under the supervision of team trainers. He had pitched a scoreless 14-pitch inning before departing last night.

Harville, who was eligible to come off the 15-day DL on Saturday, expects to pitch in a simulated game Monday before making a minor-league rehab assignment later in the week. He should be back in the Astros’ bullpen at some point next week.

Harville was designated for assignment last week. He had some rather unkind words about the organization after the move, so he won’t be offered a minor league contract to stick around.

Harville hadn’t done anything lately to deserve the move, but he did possess a 5.93 ERA for the season and the Rays have younger relievers they should be evaluating. Harville will likely find another bullpen to join, if not right away then in September.

His previous save came with the A’s in 2003. Harville lowered his ERA from 6.62 to 6.05 with the performance. It’s quite unlikely that he’ll have any fantasy value.
