Angels signed C Charlie Cutler to a minor league contract.
No word on whether that includes an invitation to spring training. Cutler, 28, performed well with the Cubs’ Double-A affiliate this past season, batting .310/.415/.412 in 102 games. Cutler also handles first base and outfield on occasion.
