Chris Hernandez was granted his unconditional release from Triple-A Indianapolis.
Hernandez looked like he had a shot at being added to the 40-man roster at the end of last season, but so far this year he had a 6.75 ERA in 18 2/3 innings at Triple-A. He had posted a 2.61 ERA in 20 2/3 innings at Double-A before that, though, so he could probably latch on somewhere if so inclined.
