Cory Patton went 4-for-6 with two homers, a double and 10 RBI for Single-A Dunedin on Sunday.
Patton, who turned 24 last week, was playing in just his fourth game for Dunedin after hitting .290/.337/.510 in 241 AB for low Single-A Lansing. The 2004 seventh-round pick is something of a long shot to make it to the majors despite his power. Because of his age, he’ll have to master the FSL and Double-A quickly to remain a prospect.
