Rangers signed OF/RHP DJ Peters to a minor league contract.
Peters spent last year in the Tigers system converting to pitching full-time, throwing 21 innings for Detroit’s Rookie-level affiliate. The 28-year-old former outfielder got into 70 games over two seasons for the Rangers and Dodgers before spending a season overseas in Korea. He’s an interesting developmental project for the Rangers, but is highly unlikely to make an impact for fantasy managers anytime soon.

Tigers signed OF DJ Peters to a minor league contract.
Peters finished last season in the Nationals’ organization after a stint with the Lotte Giants of the Korea Baseball Organization. The 27-year-old slashed .197/.242/.422 with 13 homers and two steals in 240 plate appearances between the Rangers and Dodgers in 2021. It was his only chance in the majors to date and he could get another one with Detroit this season.

Nationals signed OF DJ Peters to a minor league contract.
Peters was released by the Lotte Giants of the Korea Baseball Organization back in mid-July and has managed to latch on with the rebuilding Nationals. The 26-year-old outfielder got into 70 games last year for the Rangers and Dodgers, hitting .197/.242/.422 with 13 homers and two steals in 240 plate appearances. It’s a nice landing spot as Peters could get a chance to contribute later this season and will likely compete for an everyday role next spring.

DJ Peters has signed a one-year, $600,000 contract with the Lotte Giants of the Korean Baseball Organization.
The deal, which the two sides were reportedly closing in on earlier this month, is finally official. Peters recorded an underwhelming .197/.242/.422 triple-slash line, but also displayed some impressive over-the-fence pop, launching 13 round-trippers across 240 plate appearances between the Dodgers and Rangers last season. The 25-year-old outfielder should be able to put up some big-time power numbers in Korea next season.

Daniel Kim reports that DJ Peters is close to signing a contract with the Lotte Giants of the Korea Baseball Organization.
The Rangers outrighted Peters off their 40-man roster last month rather than tender him a contract, and it looks like he’s now headed overseas. Peters hit 13 homers in 240 plate appearances for the Dodgers and Rangers in 2021 but had just a .663 OPS.

DJ Peters hit a three-run homer on Thursday to help the Rangers beat the Angels.
Peters has shown the power as of late, and got Texas back in the game with a three-run homer off of Alex Cobb. The former Dodgers’ prospect has hit 13 homers and driven in 38 RBI, and those numbers are more impressive when you consider he’s only played in 51 games.

DJ Peters went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Tuesday’s win over the Astros.
With the Rangers already up 5-0 in the sixth inning, Peters made sure the lead was more/less untouchable, clubbing a three-run home run off Zack Greinke to push the score into the upper atmosphere. The 25-year-old outfielder has now combined for 12 homers between the Dodgers and Rangers. There is some power, here, but Peters has been battling the Mendoza Line throughout the summer.

DJ Peters went 4-for-5 with two home runs and four RBI against the Angels on Sunday.
Peters had a big day at the plate against the Angels on Sunday, driving in four of the team’s seven runs. He took Jansen Junk deep for a solo shot to lead off the second inning. With two runners on in the third, Peters went yard once again off Junk for a three-run homer. The 25-year-old outfielder added a single and a double, falling a triple short of the cycle. Peters is hitting .204/.266/.458 with ten homers and 26 RBI across 158 plate appearances.
