The 29-year-old last pitched in the minor league system back in 2018 for the Dodgers, carrying a 6.08 ERA over 37 innings. Baker will be assigned to Double-A Chattanooga.

Milwaukee had to clear out space on the 40-man roster after finalizing deals with Jhoulys Chacin and Yovani Gallardo on Thursday.
