    Mets released RHP Dylan Bundy.
This certainly feels like the end of the road for Bundy, who struggled to a 10.08 ERA, 1.96 WHIP and 21/7 K/BB ratio across 25 innings (six starts) this season for Triple-A Syracuse after signing a minor league deal with the Mets back in late March. The 30-year-old righty made 29 starts last year for the Twins before the club declined his $11 million club option for 2023.

Mets signed RHP Dylan Bundy to a minor league contract.
Bundy compiled a pedestrian 4.89 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 94/28 K/BB ratio across 140 innings (29 starts) last year for the Twins and drew almost zero interest this offseason on the free agent market. The 30-year-old righty provides the Mets with some emergency starting pitching depth and will likely open the regular season at Triple-A Syracuse.

Twins declined their $11 million club option on RHP Dylan Bundy for the 2023 season.
Bundy ate up plenty of innings last year for the Twins, but the results were rather uninspiring as he finished with a lackluster 4.89 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 94/28 K/BB ratio over 140 innings (29 starts). The 29-year-old right-hander will search for a new opportunity on the free agent market this offseason.

According to Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic, the Twins are expected to decline club options on Miguel Sanó, Dylan Bundy and Chris Archer.
The trio are expected to hit free agency later this week once those decisions are finalized. Gleeman adds that Carlos Correa is also expected this upcoming week to exercise the opt-out clause in his contract with the Twins. None of these decisions come as a surprise, but it sounds like they’re on track to happen shortly.

Dylan Bundy pitched well in a no-decision against the Tigers on Saturday night in Motown, giving up just two runs on five hits over his five innings of work.
The veteran right-hander struck out three on the night and did not walk a batter. The Tigers pushed a run across against him in the first inning on an RBI single by Javier Baez, then Eric Haase tagged him for a solo shot in the fourth. Bundy got 14 swings and misses on just 78 total pitches on the night -- seven of those coming on his slider -- while posting a CSW of 27 percent. The 29-year-old hurler finishes the 2022 campaign with an 8-8 record, 4.89 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 94/28 K/BB ratio over 140 innings in his 29 starts. He’s set to hit free agency after this season.

Dylan Bundy lasted just 3 1/3 innings and gave up five runs -- four earned -- Sunday in a loss to the Angels.
Just a lazy outing for Bundy, who cost himself a run by failing to back up home plate on an errant throw in the first. He fell to 8-8 with a 4.93 ERA and a 91/28 K/BB ratio in 135 innings for the season. At this point, he might be looking at nothing more than minor league offers this winter.

Dylan Bundy allowed four runs on four hits over 4 2/3 innings while taking a no-decision in Tuesday’s loss to the Royals.
Bundy was cracked for a two-run homer by MJ Melendez in the bottom of the third inning and subsequently surrendered a solo homer to Hunter Dozier and RBI infield single to Bobby Witt Jr. in the fifth inning. He managed just two strikeouts (against one walk) in the lackluster effort. With this one in the books, the 29-year-old right-hander will bring a 4.78 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 89/26 K/BB ratio (27 starts; 131 2/3 innings) into a home start against the Angels. Bundy has now been dashed for at least four runs in two of his last three trips to the mound.

Dylan Bundy gave up two runs over four innings on Thursday in a no-decision against the Royals.
Bundy coughed up four hits, including a solo homer to Salvador Perez, and was pulled after just 60 pitches (41 strikes). He registered a pair of strikeouts and didn’t issue a walk. The 29-year-old right-hander has compiled an underwhelming 4.68 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 87/25 K/BB ratio across 127 innings (26 starts) this season in his Twins debut. He’ll face the Royals again on Tuesday in his next outing.

Dylan Bundy was lit up for seven runs and 12 hits in 4 2/3 innings by the Guardians on Friday.
Bundy would have been out after giving up five runs in four innings if the bullpen hadn’t been used so heavily of late. He gave up three homers tonight, bringing his total surrendered to 19 in 123 innings. He’s doing the best he can, but his stuff has deteriorated considerably, leaving him with a career-worst strikeout rate and a 4.68 ERA.

Dylan Bundy shut out the White Sox for five innings for the win in a 5-1 game Sunday.
Bundy was at just 66 pitches through five, but it was still likely a smart decision for the Twins to turn to the pen at that point. Bundy has actually thrown more than 71 pitches in just one of his last six starts (86 against Boston last week). His stuff isn’t very good at this point, so the Twins really just want him going through lineups twice.
