Delvis Lantigua was placed on the restricted list by the commissioner’s office Friday because of an age discrepancy in the Dominican Republic.

Lantigua’s real first name apparently is Eddi. It has yet to be revealed just how old he is. The relief prospect was acquired from the White Sox in last month’s Orlando Hernandez trade.
