Gould, 20, has a 5.12 ERA and 74/24 K/BB ratio over 72 innings this season and was ranked as the organization’s No. 6 prospect by Baseball America over the winter. He was the Dodgers’ second-round pick back in 2009.

Gould was looked at as a potential first-round pick. His delivery is rather scary, leading to questions about whether he’ll last as a starter, but he throws in the low-90s and has a strikeout curve.
