If the White Sox can keep from overworking their bullpen in the next three days, Gary Glover is expected to start one of the games in Saturday’s doubleheader.
Prospect Neal Cotts is also a possibility, even though he is scheduled to appear in the Futures Game on Sunday. Cotts is 8-3 with a 1.97 ERA at Double-A Birmingham this season.

Recent callup Gary Glover will start today against the Pirates.
Glover takes the place of Victor Santos, who has a problem with the middle finger on his pitching hand. Glover was 3-3 with a 3.98 ERA in eight games (six starts) for Indianapolis and is not to be used in fantasy leagues.

Twins released RHP Gary Glover from Triple-A Rochester.
Glover, signed four weeks ago, had an 8.44 ERA in four starts and a relief appearance for Rochester.

Gary Glover limited the Diamondbacks to one run and five hits in six innings to win tonight.
“It was just like being back in Triple-A, only easier,” Glover did not say after the game.

Gary Glover yielded four runs in five-plus innings against the Pirates while filling in for Victor Santos today.
The performance was enough to earn Glover a win. He’ll probably now head to the bullpen.

Marlins signed RHP Gary Glover to a minor league contract.
He’ll receive an invite to spring training. Glover, 35, hasn’t appeared in a major league game since 2008 and didn’t pitch at all this past season. He spent 2010 in Japan, where he held a 5.66 ERA over 22 starts. Needless to say, he’s a longshot to earn a roster spot.

Brewers purchased the contract of RHP Gary Glover from Triple-A Indianapolis.
Glover has had an awful year in Triple-A and didn’t earn the promotion. Someone had to replace Dave Burba in middle relief, though.

Brewers re-signed RHP Gary Glover to a one-year contract.
The Brewers can’t really be thinking about keeping Glover on their 40-man roster all winter long. Maybe they’ll send him outright to the minors at a later date. The 27-year-old did have a little success for them in September, so it’s not surprising they wanted to bring him back. He’s NRI material, though, and the Brewers have prospects they’ll need to add to their roster next month.

Brewers purchased the contract of RHP Gary Glover from Triple-A Nashville.
Glover is likely going to start over Wes Obermueller the rest of the way. It’s an upgrade, but not much of one.

Gary Glover recorded the win for the Brewers tonight, yielding three runs over six innings versus the Cardinals.
He struck out eight while walking two and giving up five hits. Glover will get another start against the Reds on Thursday, but he’s not worth using in NL-only leagues.
