Athletics acquired LHP Jackson Nove from the White Sox for OF Junior Perez.
Nove is the equivalent of a scratch lottery ticket as a 23-year-old with a 1.96 ERA and 41/10 K/BB ratio across 23 innings at Low-A Kannapolis in his professional debut. He went undrafted after pitching in relief in college at Kentucky.
