Athletics acquired C Jason Goldstein from the Mariners for LHP Dillon Overton.
Goldstein turns 23 in March and was selected in the ninth round of last year’s draft out of the University of Illinois. He batted .279/.328/.311 over 68 plate appearances between rookie ball and Low-A Everett in his first taste of pro ball.
