Josh Burrus drove in five runs while hitting his second and third homers for the Javelinas of the AFL on Monday.
Burrus could definitely use a big fall after hitting just .213/.252/.285 in 291 at-bats for Double-A Mississippi. He’s currently at .279/.367/.605 in 43 at-bats. The Braves no longer have high hopes for the 2001 first-round pick, but there could be other teams interested in taking a chance on someone with his tools.
