Juan Querecuto will convert to pitching full-time this upcoming season.
Querecuto, a highly-touted shortstop prospect out of Venezuela, received a $1.225 million signing bonus as an international prospect back in 2017. The 21-year-old has yet to advance beyond Single-A, hitting .236/.332/.308 with four homers in 107 games since 2018. He’ll give pitching a shot this upcoming season.
