Orioles acquired OF Kevin Guerrero, LHP Antonio Velez, a player to be named later and a competitive balance round B draft pick from the Marlins for RHP Cole Sulser and LHP Tanner Scott.
Guerrero -- a 17-year-old outfielder from the Dominican Republic -- signed with the Orioles prior to the 2021 season. He participated in the Dominican Summer League last year, slashing .260/.373/.298 with no homers, 11 RBI and 13 stolen bases in 40 games. He’s obviously still very raw and several years away from potentially helping the O’s at the big league level.
