Reds signed LHP Lee Hyde to a minor league contract.
Hyde had a 3.89 ERA, 1.39 WHIP and 44/24 K/BB ratio in 44 innings this past season between two different levels of the Yankees’ minor league system. The 27-year-old will be nothing more than organizational depth for Cincy.

Braves purchased the contracts of LHPs Lee Hyde, Jose Ortegano and Jonny Venters and RHPs Jeff Lyman and Kyle Coffield.
The move protects all five pitchers from the Rule 5 Draft. These guys are far away from the majors, but are still promising members of the Braves organization. Hyde, a 24 year-old left-hander, posted a 3.00 ERA and 13/12 K/BB ratio in the Arizona Fall League this season.

Nationals designated LHP Lee Hyde for assignment.
They needed to clear a spot on the 40-man roster for Brian Bixler. Hyde gave up nine runs in his first 7 1/3 innings at Triple-A. He might end up back with the Braves, who lost him through waivers to the Nats late last month.

Nationals claimed LHP Lee Hyde of waivers from the Braves; optioned him to Triple-A Syracuse.
Hyde, 26, registered a 3.41 ERA and 52/24 K/BB ratio across 60 2/3 innings last season between Double-A and Triple-A. He may be able to climb up to the Nats’ big league bullpen at some point this year.
