McDougall

McDougall was set to be Oklahoma’s regular third baseman this season, but he began the year on the DL due to a hamstring injury and had played at Frisco since returning, batting .315/.383/.493 in 18 games. The former Florida State star projects as a utilityman in the majors.

McDougall would be a better choice than Mark DeRosa to play right field against left-handers, but we’ll see if he gets that opportunity. He’s probably not worth picking up in AL-only leagues right now.

McDougall is hitting .287/.400/.460 in 23 games. The Florida State product should have a career in the majors as an offensive-minded utilityman.

McDougall is hitting .304/.396/.557 and has 29 RBI in 29 games for Guasave.

McDougall hit .284/.385/.498 in 215 at-bats during the regular season. We still think he’d be a useful reserve for some team, but he went unselected in last month’s Rule 5 draft.

McDougall may get a handful of starts against left-handers. He won’t play versus righties, so he shouldn’t have any fantasy value.

McDougall received a cortisone injection for tendinitis in his left wrist while he was in Double-A.

McDougall went 0-for-8 in 25 days with the Rangers. He’ll be back after Frisco’s season ends.

Nice. McDougall should replace Chad Allen as the DH against left-handers and he’ll also be a reserve infielder. He probably won’t have any fantasy value, but he should be an upgrade.

It’s disappoing McDougall never received a chance. He went 2-for-5 in 20 days with the Rangers.
