Single-A Charlotte’s Matt Fields homered three times in a doubleheader Wednesday.

The 23-year-old Fields has always been a big strikeout guy, but he’s taken it up a notch with a 49/4 K/BB ratio in 157 at-bats this season. While he does have nine homers and a respectable .261/.302/.490 line, he’s not much of a prospect.
