White Sox acquired RHP Myles Jaye and RHP Daniel Webb from the Blue Jays in exchange for RHP Jason Frasor.
Jaye was a 17th-round pick in 2010 that received a well-over slot $250,000 to sign. He’s raw, but the 6-foot-3, 170-pounder has plenty of room for projection. The 20-year-old held a 3.00 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 49/18 K/BB ratio over 54 innings for the Blue Jays in rookie ball this past season.

Tigers RHP prospect Myles Jaye recorded a career-high 11 strikeouts over 8 1/3 shutout innings Saturday in a win for Double-A Erie.
The right-hander retired 25 straight batters after allowing a leadoff double in the first inning. The victory snapped a four-game winless streak for Jaye, who is now 4-6 with a 3.78 ERA over 19 appearances this year. Jaye leads the Eastern League with 112 innings pitched and is also third in the league with 95 strikeouts. Saturday’s outing was easily his longest of the season.

Tigers purchased the contract of RHP Myles Jaye from Triple-A Toledo.
Jaye, who will turn 25 next month, posted a 3.95 ERA and 135/41 K/BB ratio over 161 2/3 innings between Double- and Triple-A this season. He’s now protected from the Rule 5 Draft.

Tigers optioned RHP Myles Jaye to Triple-A Toledo; reassigned Cs Austin Green and Grayson Greiner, and OFs Mike Gerber and Jason Krizan to minor league camp.
Jaye was added to the Tigers’ 40-man roster back in November after posting a 3.95 ERA and 135/41 K/BB ratio over 161 2/3 innings between Double- and Triple-A. There’s not a high ceiling here, but he provides close-to-ready starting depth in the minors.

Tigers recalled RHP Myles Jaye from Triple-A Toledo.
Jaye has functioned exclusively as a starter this season, posting a 3.96 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and 115/46 K/BB ratio across 131 2/3 innings in 25 starts between Double-A Erie and Triple-A Toledo. It’s unclear exactly how the rotation is going to shake out with the trade of Justin Verlander and injury to Michael Fulmer, but Jaye could be used as a long man out of the bullpen.

Myles Jaye got pounded for seven earned runs over just 3 2/3 innings Monday in a loss to the Indians.
It was the first career major league start for Jaye and he looked completely overmatched by the red-hot Tribe, who have now won 19 straight games. Jaye gave up two walks and seven hits while striking out only two of the 23 batters he faced. The 25-year-old right-hander is not guaranteed another turn in the Tigers’ rotation.

Myles Jaye lasted just 1 2/3 innings and was tagged for six runs in a loss to the White Sox on Saturday.
Jaye has now been knocked around for 13 runs in just 5 1/3 innings through his first two major league starts. It’s unclear if the Tigers will keep pushing him out there, but fantasy owners shouldn’t use him even if they do.

Rangers re-assigned RHPs Myles Jaye and Scott Williams, and C Kelli Deglan to minor league camp.
No one from the trio was expected to sniff the big league roster, so there’s nothing really to see here. All three will continue to provide depth in the minor leagues.

Tigers acquired RHP Myles Jaye and C Bobby Wilson from the Rangers in exchange for C Bryan Holaday.
    Jaye, 24, isn’t really a prospect. He’s put up a 4.15 ERA and 435/225 K/BB ratio across 604 2/3 innings in the minors.

Myles Jaye gave up three runs in one inning during his start against the Red Sox on Friday in Grapefruit League action.
He allowed RBI-doubles to both Hanley Ramirez and J.D. Martinez in the brief outing. The 26-year-old made his major league debut with the Tigers last year and got pounded to the tune of 18 runs in 12 2/3 innings spread over two starts and three relief appearances. He will start the regular season at Triple-A.
