More good news for the MLB-leading Rangers.
According to Drew Davison of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, starter Colby Lewis made it through a game of catch Saturday without incident and is on track to return to the Texas rotation immediately (or almost immediately) after the All-Star break.
Lewis has been on the disabled list since last Tuesday due to tendinitis in his right forearm.
The 32-year-old right-hander has registered a spectacular 3.51 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 90/12 K/BB ratio through 100 innings this season.
