Reliever David Aardsma himself broke the news on Twitter that he has signed a minor league deal with the Dodgers, which includes an invitation to spring training.

Aardsma, 33, spent the 2014 season with the Cardinals at Triple-A Memphis, accruing a 1.29 ERA with a 36/17 K/BB ratio in 35 innings. He last pitched in the major leagues with the Mets in 2013. He had lost significant velocity on his fastball, but has reportedly worked on regaining that over the off-season.
