Last night we learned that Curt Schilling has been taken off of Sunday Night Baseball for the remainder of the season. Now the other shoe drops:

Regardless of what you think of the controversy that got Schilling taken off the air, it takes a serious set of disingenuous contortions to make an argument that he’s a better presence in the booth than Mendoza is. Go read Jesse Spector’s review of the broadcast if you missed the Cubs-Dodgers game on Sunday and hear some reasons why.

Curt Schilling’s Twitter handle is “Gehrig38.” And the dude just got Wally Pipped.
