Myers hadn’t appeared in a game since May 10 and the discomfort in his left wrist obviously wasn’t going away. He missed a significant portion of the 2014 season with a stress fracture in his other (right) wrist. Will Venable and Abraham Almonte will draw the majority of starts in center field while Myers is out.
