Orioles’ minor league hurler Noah Denoyer underwent Tommy John reconstructive elbow surgery this week.
The 25-year-old hurler made 25 appearances (five starts) at Triple-A Norfolk this season — registering a 5.61 ERA, 1.71 WHIP and a 63/38 K/BB ratio over 51 1/3 innings before the elbow troubles shut him down. He’ll miss the entire 2024 season.

Orioles sent RHP Noah Denoyer outright to Triple-A Norfolk.
Denoyer passed through waivers unclaimed last week after being designated for assignment and will remain with the Orioles as organizational depth.

Orioles designated RHP Noah Denoyer for assignment.
The O’s needed to free up a spot on the active roster for Mark Kolozsvary to join the active roster on Tuesday and it looks like Denoyer was the odd-man out this time around. The 25-year-old hurler has posted a disappointing 5.04 ERA, 1.75 WHIP and a 34/22 K/BB ratio over 30 1/3 innings at Triple-A Norfolk this season. He should pass through waivers without issue.

Orioles optioned RHP Noah Denoyer to Triple-A Norfolk.
Denoyer was added to the Orioles’ 40-man roster last November and will head back to Triple-A Norfolk as extra organizational relief depth.

Orioles selected the contract of RHP Noah Denoyer from Double-A Bowie.
Denoyer has been added to Baltimore’s 40-man roster and will be protected from next month’s Rule 5 Draft. The towering 24-year-old righty finished last year with a 2.89 ERA, 0.94 WHIP and 99/17 K/BB ratio across 71 2/3 innings (21 appearances, five starts) between three levels in the Orioles’ minor league system.
