Brian Roberts and Johnny Damon also hit leadoff homers in the Orioles-Yankees game on Thursday. The feat had been pulled off just twice previously this year. Boston’s Kevin Youkilis and Florida’s Hanley Ramirez did it on July 2, and Alfonso Soriano and Ramirez hit leadoff homers on July 18.
