Braves acquired INF Richard Rodriguez from the Giants for INF Gordon Beckham.
Rodriguez batted just .182/.216/.191 over 118 plate appearances this season as a 23-year-old in High-A ball, making 20 starts at shortstop and 11 starts at second base for the San Jose Giants. The native of Venezuela can’t really be considered a prospect.
