Expos signed 37-year-old RHP Richie Lewis to a minor league contract and assigned him to Triple-A Edmonton.
Lewis had not pitched anywhere this season after spending 2002 in the Atlantic and Mexican leagues. He was the Expos’ second round pick in the 1987 draft.
