Sean Halton had an RBI single and a two-run homer in Thursday’s victory over the Cardinals.
Halton’s two-run shot in the fourth gave the Brewers a 4-0 lead, and that wound up being all the team needed. With Juan Francisco really struggling to make contact, Halton could see more playing time at first base down the stretch. He’s hitting .254/.319/.381 over 69 plate appearances this season.

Sean Halton hit his first big-league homer Wednesday in the loss to the Reds.
Halton should play pretty regularly with Aramis Ramirez on the disabled list, giving him some short-term value in NL-only leagues. He’ll need to capitalize quickly or the Brewers could demote him and give Hunter Morris a look later on.
