Tampa Bay Rays 1B/OF prospect Tre’ Morgan went 4-for-6 with a double, a triple, and five runs scored in Arizona Fall League action on Wednesday.
Morgan is another in a long-time of Rays’ first base prospects who are more contact-oriented and less of a plus raw power asset. He did make it to Double-A during the 2024 season and posted a .324/.408/.483 triple slash. He is an elite defender at first base who could provide more steals than your average first baseman, but he has been playing exclusively outfield in the fall, which could be a sign of where the Rays hope he lands long-term.
