Troy Patton (arm fatigue) is scheduled to pitch in Tuesday’s game against the Rays.
Patton hasn’t pitched since Thursday due to arm fatigue, but it shouldn’t be a lingering issue. The 28-year-old left-hander is out of options this spring, so he has a decent shot to win a bullpen spot on the O’s Opening Day roster.

MLB.com’s Brittany Ghiroli expects Troy Patton and Zach Phillips to make the Orioles’ Opening Day roster.
Patton is out of options and would be exposed to waivers if he doesn’t make the team. Phillips’ bullpen spot is looking pretty secure after an impressive spring, and could be used as a long reliever if needed.

Troy Patton (ankle) had his second throwing session from 120 feet Wednesday.
He’ll throw from a flat mound Friday, which will be the first time since landing on the DL that he’s pushed off a rubber. The Orioles won’t provide a timetable for Patton until he throws from a full mound.

Good news. He’s expected to resume throwing on Thursday and should be able to rejoin the Orioles’ bullpen at some point in September if all goes well.

The Orioles are expected to place Troy Patton on the disabled list with an ankle injury.
Patton rolled the ankle recently, and apparently the O’s think he’ll need a couple weeks of down time. He’ll be replaced on the roster by J.C. Romero, who was acquired via trade Monday.

Troy Patton (ankle) is scheduled to throw off a flat mound Friday.
If all goes well, he will move to a regular mound on Monday. There’s no clear timetable for his return, but the O’s are hopeful he’ll be able to contribute for most of September. The 27-year-old southpaw has been sidelined since August 12 with a sprained right ankle.
