Dodgers signed LHP Vidal Nuño to a minor league contract.
Nuño had been starting games in the Mexican League with Tijuana, but it’d be surprising if he wasn’t used as a reliever. The 34-year-old will provide organizational depth, with a decent chance to pitch for the Dodgers at some point this summer. He’ll have to be added to the 40-man roster in order for that to happen.

Rays signed LHP Vidal Nuno to a minor league contract.
Nuno was released by the Nationals a week ago after posting a 7.25 ERA over 22 1/3 innings with Triple-A Fresno. The lefty held a 1.64 ERA over 17 games for the Rays last season, so it’s not a surprise they were happy to bring him back as a depth addition.

    Nationals released LHP Vidal Nuno.
Nuno had a June 15 opt-out in his minor league contract with Washington, but he’s been let go early after posting a 7.25 ERA over 22 1/3 innings this season at Triple-A Fresno. The 31-year-old southpaw will probably have to settle for another minor league deal on the open market.

Nationals signed LHP Vidal Nuno to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.
Nuno gets a split-level deal, with Heyman saying that the southpaw will get $1.3 million if he’s on the Nationals. He pitched well for the Rays in 17 games last year with a 1.64 ERA, but he wasn’t called up until May 23 and battled a hamstring injury over the summer. He should compete for one of the final spots in the Washington bullpen for the 2019 campaign.

Vidal Nuno has elected free agency.
Nuno declined an outright assignment by the Rays and is now free to sign elsewhere. The southpaw posted a 1.64 ERA over 17 appearances this season.

Vidal Nuno will start Saturday against the Rays.
The Yankees had the option of skipping Nuno with the off day, but they decided to give CC Sabathia an extra day of rest. “It’s just the way we did it because we’re in another long stretch here,” manager Joe Girardi said. “After this day off, it’s 17 days in a row, so that’s how we decided to do it.”

Vidal Nuno held the Mets to two runs and three hits over six innings in a loss on Thursday.
Nunez finished with the same line tonight as he did five days ago in a no-decision against the Rays. With a 2.25 ERA in three starts and two relief appearances, he’s made a case for sticking around. Still, he’s expected to be bounced from the rotation with Andy Pettitte returning Monday.

Yankees optioned LHP Vidal Nuno to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
He’s has been great in his time with the Yankees, but the club has decided to keep David Phelps in the rotation, so Nuno isn’t needed with Andy Pettitte coming back Monday. He should get another chance later this summer.

Vidal Nuno left Friday’s start at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre with a groin injury.
Nuno is expected to be placed on the Triple-A disabled list and could be looking at an extended absence. The 25-year-old left-hander posted a 2.25 ERA in three starts and two relief appearances with the Yankees earlier this season.

Vidal Nuno will start Game 2 of Monday’s doubleheader against the Indians.
The Yankees don’t want to use any of their starters on short rest, so Nuno will get the spot start. David Phelps will pitch Game 1 of the doubleheader.
