Wes Obermueller will move to the bullpen for the next couple games.
Depending upon how Matt Kinney looks tonight, one of the two will be used mostly in long relief for a while, as the Brewers have 10 of the next 11 Mondays off, meaning they won’t need a fifth starter very often. If Kinney doesn’t pitch well tonight, Obermueller could move up to take Kinney’s turn Thursday against Arizona and it could be Kinney who works next Saturday and then plays the waiting game. Neither pitcher is very valuable.

Wes Obermueller will start on Thursday against Arizona because of the injury to Chris Capuano.
Capuano hopes to be ready to return from a strained left thigh in time for Saturday’s start against St. Louis. You don’t really want to own either player.

Preferring to leave Dave Burba in a middle-relief role, the Brewers are considering calling up RHP Wes Obermueller from Triple-A Indianapolis to start against Colorado Friday.
For a Rockies-Brewers game, this one could be interesting with a couple rookie starters facing each other. Chin-Hui Tsao will go for Colorado. Since coming to Indianapolis in the Curtis Leskanic trade, Obermuller is 0-2 with a 4.70 ERA. Don’t pick him up.

The Brewers were uncertain as to who would start Thursday’s matinee, but have settled on Wes Obermueller.
It was a process of elimination. Matt Kinney surrendered five runs in the first inning Saturday and injured starter Chris Capuano gave up eight first-inning runs in what was supposed to be his final rehab start at Triple-A. No reason to own Obermueller, even as he faces the weak Expos’ lineup.

Wes Obermueller turned in his first career complete game today in Milwaukee’s 8-0 win over Houston.
Obermueller has turned in a few excellent starts against contenders this season, but he still has a 5.86 ERA. We don’t see a lot of improvement in his future.

Wes Obermueller will start for the Brewers today.
Obermueller will start in place of Chris Capuano. Doug Davis will go on Tuesday for the Brewers. Milwaukee is currently undecided on who will start on Monday but are leaning towards recalling Ben Hendrickson to make the start.

Wes Obermueller will start for Milwaukee on Wednesday.
Manager Ned Yost has shuffled his rotation to allow ‘veterans’ to start against playoff contenders. Gary Glover will start on Saturday against Houston, with rookie hurlers Ben Hendrickson and Juan De La Rosa now scheduled to start on September 20 and 23rd respectively. If you can follow all of this, adjust your pitching rotation accordingly.

Wes Obermueller, who pitched in relief last night, will not make his start this week.
The Brewers have an off day (Thursday) and manager Ned Yost wanted Victor Santos to make his scheduled start Friday against the Phillies.

Brewers signed RHP Wes Obermueller, RHP Derrick Turnbow, LHP Sam Narron, LHP Andy Pratt and OF Nelson Cruz to one-year contracts.
Obermueller will compete for a rotation spot and could win a job as a middle reliever if he misses out. He’s the only good bet from this group to make the team. Turnbow is a longshot candidate for the pen.

Brewers recalled RHP Wes Obermueller from Triple-A Nashville.
Get set for some more evidence revealing that Obermueller simply isn’t good enough to be a starting pitcher in the majors. He’s going to replace Ben Sheets in the rotation and pitch Saturday.
