Reds signed RHP Wilmer Rios to a minor league contract.
Rios has spent nearly a decade -- nine seasons, to be exact -- pitching in the Mexican League. He’s also coming off an impressive 13-start showing this offseason in the Mexican Winter League. The soon-to-be 29-year-old righty will head to Double-A Chattanooga and provides the Reds with some additional upper-level starting pitching depth. He’s an interesting low-risk lottery ticket.
