Spotrac’s Keith Smith reports that the Bulls will trade Mouhamadou Gueye to the Timberwolves as part of a three-team deal that also involves the Nets.

The Bulls, Timberwolves and Nets have reportedly agreed to a three-team deal that will not become official until the new league year begins on July 6. Chicago received Nic Claxton, with the Timberwolves getting Gueye and the 33rd overall pick, and the Nets received Julius Randle and the 28th overall pick. Gueye, who appeared in two games for the Bulls last season, will have his contract guaranteed by the Bulls to consummate the deal. However, it is expected to be converted into a non-guaranteed deal once the trade becomes official, after which the Timberwolves will waive him. This set of transactions will not affect Gueye’s fantasy value.

Mouhamadou Gueye tallied 21 points (9-of-14 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), five rebounds, one assist, two steals, three blocks, and two 3-pointers in 22 minutes in Saturday’s 97-65 win over San Antonio.

After spending last season with the Raptors on a two-way contract, Gueye is playing for the Hornets this summer. And he made quite the impression on Saturday, displaying his full potential on both ends of the floor. Impactful as a defender, Gueye also showed off the ability to score from just about anywhere on the court. Charlotte will have Mark Williams and Nick Richards under contract for next season, but Gueye’s primary focus this summer will be on earning an invite to training camp.

Kelly Olynyk (rest) will not play against Minnesota on Wednesday.

Olynyk will sit out the second night of the back-to-back, which doesn’t leave Toronto with many options down low. Mouhamadou Gueye filled most of the reserve center minutes on Tuesday and could move into the starting lineup for this game. It is a great opportunity, but he hasn’t been able to provide much value in fantasy this season.

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Jontay Porter is the subject of an investigation into “irregularities on prop betting involving him.”

Porter was ruled out for Monday’s game against the Nets for “personal reasons” and may not be cleared to return until the investigation is completed. While this frees up minutes off the bench for Jalen McDaniels and Mouhamadou Gueye, neither needs to be added immediately. Fantasy managers can watch both on Monday to better understand the minutes’ distribution and players’ production.

Jontay Porter has been ruled out for Saturday’s game against the Wizards for personal reasons.

Add Porter’s name to the list of Raptors players who will not be available for Saturday’s game. His absence will free up additional minutes for Jalen McDaniels and Mouhamadou Gueye, neither of whom need to be streamed in most fantasy leagues.

Jontay Porter (illness) has been ruled out for the remainder of Wednesday’s game against the Kings.

Porter played just three minutes off the bench before exiting Wednesday’s game. Toronto already lacked bodies throughout the rotation, so losing one of their few available bigs doesn’t help deal with Domantas Sabonis. Mouhamadou Gueye will play rotation minutes off the bench, and his name is one to remember if Porter misses time.

Mouhamadou Gueye signed a two-way deal with the Raptors on Monday.

Gueye made an appearance for the Raptors when on a 10-day contract in February, though he only played six minutes in a blowout loss. He will likely continue to spend most of his time with the Raptors 905.

The Raptors have signed Mouhamadou Gueye to a 10-day contract, per The Athletic’s Shams Charania.

Gueye has played well for Toronto’s G-League affiliate, and now he will get the chance to suit up in the NBA for the first time. It is awesome to see, but he isn’t a player to target in any format.

The Raptors have waived Justise Winslow, Jeff Dowtin, and Mouhamadou Gueye.

This was the expected outcome for Winslow, who signed an Exhibit 10 contract just before the Raptors’ preseason finale on Friday. He and Gueye are eligible to play for Raptors 905 in the G League, while Dowtin’s G League rights were acquired by the Delaware Blue Coats this summer. If he doesn’t land an NBA contract (two-way or standard), Dowtin’s next stop could be Delaware.

Raptors 905 has acquired the returning player rights of Mouhamadou Gueye from the Texas Legends in exchange for a 2024 first-round pick.

This move won’t impact fantasy basketball at all, as Gueye did not appear in an NBA game last season. Waived by the Mavericks toward the end of training camp last October, he appeared in 29 games for the Legends, averaging 8.6 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.9 blocks per contest.
